Do all the lights still stay on, do some flash? by Leslie on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:48am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 If all the lights are still on after go, you secondary error shows a rom/ram failure. If you have added any additional memory, take it hp business inkjet out and try powering on without it. check the connections on the formatter. make sure they are not loose. by Leslie on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:52am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Ok i guess i found that the secondary error shows the two little light still on and the big light is off, what does that means? anybody by Rick on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:53am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Do i have hold when i press on the go button or just press and let go? cause if i do press and hold it gives me the two small lights on and the big light off, and if i just press on it and let go still all three still on by Rick on Jun 4, 2003 at 9:05am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 press and HOLD the GO button to see the secondary error message.2 lights on means a motor error. check your conections to your motor. Thread Status: Not open for further replies. Advertisement Tim Underwood Thread Starter Joined: Oct 27, 2006 Messages: 85 The above named printer is stopping and all the lights come on as the paper is being fed round the printer from the tray. I orginally thought it was a paper jam, but the paper is not jammed at all, as when turning some of the cogs inside it moves the paper along fine. however when i have done this, cleared the "jam", and press the information page button on the front of the printer, it does it fine. . . I don't know what the problem is. . . Oh and HP support is useless. . . Tim Underwood, Oct 31, 2006 #1 Sponsor 1069 Joined: Sep 7, 2004 Messages: 1,912 Hi Tim, To state the obvious - have you uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers? Did this ever work or is it a new printer? 1069, Oct 31, 2006 #2 Tim Underwood Thread Starter Joined: Oct 27, 2006 Messages: 85 I haven't tried to uninstall the printer drivers. I'll do that now. . . However it has been working fine. Apart from two weeks ago i had a similar problem with the same printer, but clearing the paper jam twice seemed to solve it. . . Thank you for responding! Tim Underwood, Oct 31, 2006 #3 Tim Underwood Thread Starter Joined: Oct 27, 2006 Messages: 85 This has not worked . . . What is a firmware error?
