hints as to what may be causing this problem? Respond to this 1 Hi! All of a sudden, when I turn on my 960c HP printer, the yellow and red lights come on at the same time followed by TWO grinding sounds [the roller seems to move] and then both the yellow and red lights are flashing simultaneously... [normally I would get just the continuous yellow light when all is well] I am stumped as to what to do! Can anyone help me? Many thanks! Usually when I see that type of problem only showing up thru color printouts, its being caused by a Hardware/Part Failure in the printer itself [Main Board Assembly], but no way to really know without trying to eliminate possible problems. Its also possible that it could be coming from corrupted Printer Drivers that are loaded inside your Computer System, some other software related problem, or even a bad or failing Color Ink Cartridge [especially if you are http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/18782 refilling your own cartridges, or buying refurbished ink cartridges]. I would suggest that you first deinstall and remove the old drivers and then go on-line to HP.COM and download the latest available drivers [which are free] and see if that makes any difference. The old drivers may have become corrupted and could be causing possible problems. First you should open your "Control Panel Utility", then open the "Add/Remove Programs", then under "Install/Uninstall", highlight and REMOVE any old Printer Drivers that may already be installed. Sometimes the same older drivers can be corrupted and conflict with newer drivers. After removing your old printers and drivers, go to the HP WEB SITE and download the latest drivers for your printer and system. You can then go to this link: " h20015.www2.hp.com " on the Hp web-site and procede to download the needed printer drivers. Simply read the information, make your choices and follow the prompts to download new drivers for free. If new drivers don't help, then you might want to even try a different Printer Cable, just to eliminate the possibility of a failing cable causing communication problems. You could always run a Stand Alone Self-Test on your printer, while its not connected to your computer system, but it may not show enough color to be able to see possible stripes. Unhook the Printer Cable from the back of the printer, but leave the Power Cord still plug

Windows 7: Printing error, cannot print anything 22 Jun 2011 #1 HugoLuza Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit 1 posts Printing error, cannot print anything Hi, I bought a hp deskjet new laptop with Win7 Home Premium 64bit a couple of months ago and havent been able to print anything at all. The printers that i have are HP Officejet K7100, HP Deskjet 960c. Both printers are recognized and the status on the control panel is all good, until i actually print something, thats when the spooler seems to begin the print job but it hp deskjet 960c just ends up saying theres an error and no page is actually printed. I have search a lot for a similar situation on the web, only to find that these printers dont have drivers available for download to Win7 since the OS is suppose to accomplish that task. I really like my notebook and Win7, but this printing problem is becoming annoying. Hope someone can help me out, thank you in advance to everyone at SevenForums My System Specs System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus N53j OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Core i7 - 2.8 Memory 4 GB Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GT 425M Hard Drives 500 GB HugoLuza View Public Profile Find More Posts by HugoLuza . 22 Jun 2011 #2 Maguscreed Windows 7 x64 6,750 posts Houston Okay the hardware is listed as supported but the software is not.
