The cartridges I have in it are only a week old, but hp deskjet f380 I'm suddenly getting an error that says: "Print Cartridge Problem. The following print cartridges have a problem: Black and Tri-Color. Refer to Printer Documentation." I've taken them out, put them back in, cleaned the copper heads, turned... show more The cartridges I have in it are only a week old, but I'm suddenly getting an error that says: "Print Cartridge Problem. The following print cartridges have a problem: Black and Tri-Color. Refer to Printer Documentation." I've taken them out, put them back in, cleaned the copper heads, turned the printer off and on. And the error is still there. Any ideas? Update: The black one was new and the color one was a refill. Update 2: I tried each cartridge by itself, but it still has the error. Ugh. If you see a message saying that you have an incorrect ink cartridge, a flashing cartridge light meaning a bad color cartridge or you are told to remove the color cartridge, you must fix the issue, reset the printer and remove the error before you can continue.Things You'll NeedClean, lint-free, dry clothNew ink cartridges (maybe)Step 1Turn on the printer and open the cover where the ink cartridge is located. Remove the cartridge.Step 2Place the ink cartridge back in the carriage. Close the cover. Turn the printer off for a minute.Step 3Turn the HP printer on. Print a test page. If this does not correct the problem, move onto Section 2.Step 1Turn on the printer and open the cover where the ink cartridge is located. Remove the cartridge.Step 2Remove the cartridge and use a clean, lint-free, dry cloth to gently wipe the contacts.Step 3Wipe from the top of the contact to the bottom.
