feature". Now I have chatted with HP Techs and followed their suggestions but to no avail. That is it. I can not change the settings. When I try to scan from HP Director it freezes on the picture of a scanner.The fax and printer work fine and it will make copies with no problem.I am running Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 on a Gateway. I have reinstalled the software 3 times hp photosmart already.Does anyone have any suggestions what might be causing this and how to fix it??
