Make sure that the computer name or ip address can be resolved. Can you manage this same computer in Hyena or some other utility to see if you have a name http://www.systemtools.com/toolboard/showthread.php?4294-DumpSec-wont-connect resolution problem ? The name is right since i was able to map to an admin share on the machine. It still wont connect with the host name to DumpSec but the ip address worked. I suppose i can use this as a work around for now - but any ideas why it wont connect with the host name? I assume that you would have the same issue with any other remote management utility. Mapping a drive is a bit different. You can try using a utility like rmtshare, for example, to see if it gets a similar error. Kevin Stanush SystemTools Software Inc. However, I want to distinguish between various potential (high level) outcomes in order to determine what happens to each message after the current send attempt. http status code This must be a common requirement so I seem to be missing something pretty obvious, but I can't find anything that addresses it, either here or via Google or on PHPMailer site or .. .
