If the OS is re installed, the system will work for two or three days, and then cannot access hotmail or any secure sites. It seems to offer some setups that might help to set up what you need. The issues almost certainly is the firewall or similar feature in that security program but what exactly to change to fix it I can not say. Unfortunately info on their web site appears to be lacking but the utility or their Customer Service

You could try installing a secondary browser like Firefox and giving it a try. What about a firewall, do you have a firewall blocking such access ?
