EDIT It is also worth noting that this can be caused by a full ramdisk when doing things like altering a large table if you have a ramdisk configured. But my database about 1.7 Gb and database has a table with ~1.5M rows. I google with error and found that if you don't have enough in tmp/ than only it give this type of error. Resolution Modify the 'my.cnf' file and set the 'tmpdir' directive to point to a partition, which has enough disk space.
