for the errorcondition is because the printer is set to use direct thermal media. (DT = Direct Thermal media and is a type of label that does not use the ribbon for inking, but is treated with a chemical to make it turn black when high heat is applied to it. To change this setting follow the directions below. 1. Press the Setup button. 2. Press the right arrow until you intermec pm4i printing blank labels see media. 3. Press down. 4.
