Fresh clone from repository of 3.x version or the 2.x version 2. GCC 4.8+ (http://nuwen.net/mingw.html version 10.4 x86 used on Windows OS) 2. CMake 2.8+ using either Code::Blocks MinGW make or MinGW make files (NO Demos, https://github.com/bulletphysics/bullet3/issues/39 CPU Demos, Extras, Multithreading, Unit Tests, Custom Vector Math, Double Precission or GLUT, just the core libraries) 3. Build type: Release (anything that has -O2 or -O3) 4. That's it. Start building. cc1plus.exe will segfault on btInternalEdgeUtility.cpp:310:2 NOTE: The library compiles fine without any optimizations. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? cc1plus sould exit without segfaulting. cc1plus exits segfaulting. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Fresh 2.x repository clone at revision r2722 (same problem with official releases or previous revisions) same for 3.x Windows 7 or XP Please provide any additional information below. The code-snipped, which causes the segmentation fault is the following: #define SURROUND(x) QUOTE(x) #define QUOTE(x) #x #include SURROUND(UNINSTD_INC) If I compile the code, internal compiler error I get the following error: unistd.h:1: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. Does somebody have an idea to fix this problem? Or an other way to include a predefined file? gcc version: gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) c++ gcc segmentation-fault c-preprocessor share|improve this question edited Jul 3 at 11:40 steveire 4,0641025 asked Apr 4 '14 at 8:47 Korbi 235215 1 Have you tried gcc 4.8? Also: what does the preprocessed source look like? –stefan Apr 4 '14 at 8:58 Inly can use this gcc version. Only this is in the OSS-Clearing. In addition, I cannot view the preprocessed code, the segfault is at the beginning of preprocessing the code –Korbi Apr 4 '14 at 10:23 Well you have to try to isolate the problem. does it work without the macros? –stefan Apr 4 '14 at 10:51 1 I found a solution without using this makros. Thanks. –Korbi Apr 8 '14 at 11:57 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote -3 down v
