letter* This issue occurs when you disconnect the drive where a Native Instruments product (e.g. a KONTAKT Library) is installed and connect another volume afterwards. In this cases, the operating system could mount the disconnected volume under a new drive letter, thus preventing the update installer to locate the path. Please follow the steps below in order to manually restore the original drive letter. Open the Windows Start menu and right-click the Computer error invalid drive e icon. Right-click the entry of the volume that has taken the letter of your NI product volume and choose Change Drive Letter and Paths.... In the window that opens, click the button Change.... In the next window, select a letter from the rear part of the alphabet to make sure both volumes do not interfere with each other again. In our example, we choose Z. Now the original drive letter of the NI product volume is available again. Go back to the Disk Management panel, right-click the entry of your NI product volume and choose Change Drive Letter and Paths.... Change the drive letter back to the original one - it is the same letter shown in th
