IPS Driver Error, make it more clear Started by teraßyte, July 13, 2008 23 posts in this topic teraßyte 1,741 Frequent Contributor +Clients 1,741 31,725 posts Posted July 13, 2008 A lot of peoples still post something like "I get IPS Driver Error doing that, how can i solve it?" And then every time the answer is "Look for the real error saved in a cgi file in the cache folder". If that error is going to be displayed in that same way also in IPB 3 i suggest you to add a small line below it like "Real error is hidden for security purpose, to see it check the cgi file in the cache folder" or something similar anyway. That should stop a lot of useless topics with "IPS Driver Error" as title  IPB Bob likes this
 Tony 54 Community Regular +Clients 54 1,224 posts Posted July 13, 2008 On vbulletin, if there's an DB error if you View the page source it will show you the error (something like this):
 teraßyte 1,741 Frequent Contributor +Clients 1,741 31,725 posts Posted July 1

It is nothing you have done. The webmaster needs to make some adjustments to the BB. It is Invision Power Services database etc. However if you are running the forum...go check the IPS drivers to fix the problem. Is this because the problem is to difficult for Nero to answer or is it a problem/BUG with the Forum facilities This post has been edited by ploughman: Mar 12 2010, 02:33 AM Infohelp View Member Profile Mar 12 2010, 03:58 PM Post #3 Advanced Member Group: Nero Support Employee Posts: 4,185 Joined: 22-June 09 Member No.: 8,466,818 Hi ploughman, apparently there has been a problem with the forum´s database in that moment.
