When I install the "Firewall Client" on my test PC, it can detect the ISA server but when I try to access the internet it shows me a page with a heading saying "Network Access Message: The website cannot be found". The error code is "11002 : Host not found". I can access the internet through SecureNAT and Web Proxy clients. But again when I monitor my sessions on the ISA box the "web proxy client" does not show my username (I'm not sure if it has to do so).On my ISA box I can't get my "reverse lookup zone" up and running. It tells me that it can't load the zone. My "forward lookup zone" just shows my internal DNS server as a host. It doesn't include my clients addresses. What is going wrong on my side ? Is this a DNS configuration problem or something else ? Make sure the internal interface is on the top of the interface list and that its configured to use an internal DNS server that can perform Internet host name resolution.HTH,Tom [ April 27, 2005, 11:29 AM: Message edited by: tshinder ] (in reply to denizyalcin) Post #: 2 RE: Error Code 11002: Host not found - 27.Apr.2005 2:33:00 PM denizyalcin Posts: 122 Joined: 19.Jan.2005 From: Turkey Status: offline Hi Mr.

Except for SBS, everytime I see it done it is amess.Get DNS (regaurdless of the method you are running it as) off of the ISAbox. Point the ISA, and every other machine on the LAN, at the AD/DNSmachine for DNS. Then use the ISP's DNS IP# in the Forwarders List on theAD/DNS.Create an Access Rule for outbound DNS Queries for the AD/DNS machine tomake anonymous outbound DNS Queries as a SecureNAT Client. You do that and it will work. It will be so trouble-free that you willforget it exists.--Phillip Windell [MCP, MVP, CCNA]www.wandtv.comFailed Connect

I Wait for comments So, indeed. (Possible) inconvenience consists that not all programs, besides IE, can "swallow" request about the first anonymous attempts. As a result a label with request - there where it it is able.I.e. ISA isa server tries to authorize at first generally any request, and only then to start up through filters, rather the reverse (as I prefer) Dorian Hawkmoon Yes, more detailed, please 2,802 Reply by Dorian Hawkmoon 2007-06-27 09:58:00 Dorian Hawkmoon Member Offline Registered: 2004-03-16 Posts: 4,800 Re: Microsoft ISA Server/Forefront TMG arguing The Tramp I.e. ISA tries to authorize at first generally any request, and only then to start up through isa server error filters, rather the reverse (as I prefer) , in my opinion, it wash a case. Otherwise how to explain that each request is processed more minutes. I and itself preferred, that all was on the contrary! It generally is somehow treated?Concerning ISA, in details:Active Connections: keeps at level of 100 pieces;Bytes/sec: 400 Kb\ss;Connections/sec: shows peaks 50/100, above does not skip;Dropped packets/sec - from time to time does peak to 50;Packets/sec: to 100;Active Sessions: on the average keeps at level 200-250;Average Milliseconds/Request: peaks till 50-75, it is rare - jumps to 125/150;Requests: 100/150 pieces.Amount of rules: 52, before long time was was 50.The channel in an Internet: 10 , soaring pair, it is given from Cisco Catalyst;Computer under ISA: P4@3GHz, storage 2Gb, an empty place on system section - 30 .On yesterday's Daily Report' ISA': the moments of peak loading of the server - 889 (11 mornings) and 766 (16 hours) connections accordingly.
