Lexical Error - Unknown Token Type Fortran
read this file in another fortran code. When I tried to read the file 'press' it gave me the following error. ---------------------------------------------------------- PGFIO-F-225/list-directed read/unit=55/lexical error-- unknown token type. If it is written as you describe, it ought to be an ordinary text file. Have you tried to look at it? You haven't shown any declarations. They can be relevant. It is quite common for problems to lie in the declarations instead of the executable statements. Perhaps more fundamentally, you haven't told us anything at all about the i and j here. One might guess that this is done in a loop, but then one might guess a lot of things, some of which are probably wrong. If it is done in a loop,

Tue, 07/08/2003 - 18:03 This looks like a message from the Portland Group compiler run-time library. As there is no compatibility between that and the Intel compilers, you would need to use the documentation and assistance methods for those compilers. Once I cleared that up in the input file, my problems were solved. I hope this helps.
