encountered a system problem with the getgrent() command. The Refresh Security command tried to read all the group entries that an error occurred receiving data from over tcp ip existed, however, a change had been made to an entry in the LDAP data. Resolving the problem This is an operating system problem and not an MQ defect. The simple test programs (below) http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21293848 attempt to recreate this problem outside of MQ. Precompiled binaries have also been made available. (This has only been written this for HP and Solaris, however it would be simple to modify this to perform a similar task on Linux or AIX.). Count the sets of xcsGetgrent. This will give you a starting point for pinpointing the problem. The command will cycle through all entries in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21232464 the /etc/group file. In this case the error was found by looking for an empty group within the LDAP entries.
