These work well with "short only" on down trend areas. But picking "long only" in https://forum.mql4.com/52430 up trend gives me order send error 4111. I tried both "long and short " on a wide area of both trends up and down. It seems to only pick up short orders. Feels like longs trades are turned off or something. Settings are all default no changes. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong? Ignored I think you need the newer versions of this ea. Try version 1.5b, vers. 1 .5c or 1 .5d . coded by Actionpl. Pls. read http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=3530333 at least from page 90 to find the aboved mention ea's and to understand very well the settings. I belive they are better. Happy trading. It seems very similar to an idea I had a year or so ago. Not having read the entire thread it might have already been discussed but here goes. Having written a few automatic trading systems myself the key to any good system of course is filtering out the little bumps in the road so as not to place a trade too early. Even a trend line won't do that. It can really irritate the trader watching the PA continuing on its merry way after you already jumped off the train. Now I'm most likely posting this way too early in my understanding of this method but what caught my attention was the mentioning of a trend line. If you are manually drawing or even a code drawn line the buy and sell signals are still the same. Even with trend lines a bump in the road will occur and filtering these is critical to maximizing the trades. I have experimented with many different meth
