ISSUE DESCRIPTION: The installation of .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 fails with errors 1714 and 1612 on a machine that already has .NET Framework 3.5 installed (with corresponding source files missing under the installer cache). ENVIRONMENT: Windows Server2003/ Windows XP Symptom and inference: The installation of .net framework 3.5 sp1 fails during the installation.
