Get the answer mscsAug 17, 2011, 7:08 PM OK have tried to clear CMOS and that did not helpwent to bios and the only other device was the cd/dvd and I just shut down computer and disconnected the drive and rebooted and got the same results.Monitor is black the the amber light until you press F1 then you get a beep and then the monitor comes up with the post and error that was stated. Check NVRAM.... etc.I did find instructions for flashing the bios (system bios update sop) but am not sure if that is what I want to do. I know that the bios is critical and do not want to ruin the computer. Any other suggestions!! Check and check , motherboard damage, and he get new one . If your mobo still warranty send it back ..
