This could probably be attributed to: 1. dirty, damaged, inverted, blank, un-finalized burned CDs or DVDs; 2. defective, weak, dirty/dusty burned-out laser eye/lens; 3. dirty, dried up lubrication of the slider shafting (where the laser eye's carriage moves) or some other components; and/or 4. dirty, dried up lubrication, defective spindle motor. A few nissan altima cd player won't eject things you can try: 1. Use a CD cleaner (readily available from most computer shops); 2. use a can of compressed air and blow through the inside of the loaded disc area; 3. gently tap on the top cover where you estimate the reading/laser eye/lens would be; 4. gently press on the tray door once the disc is loaded;5. relube, clean as necessary Should this not be corrective, perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified professional such as those in a Service Center. You can purchase one at just about any retail store for 15-20. Good to have and great preventative maintanance. If that does not work, you need a new transport, they do not repair or align lasers. Too expensive. The replacement is 100-150 with labor and a new one is under 200. My suggestion would be if the cleaner does not work replace it

My CD ERR FO/F0 error in my Nissan Maxima 2003 is fixed! Here is the saga of my long but fruitful ordeal & wish to share it with everyone. As my car is out of warranty (3.5 yrs & 75K miles), the Nissan dealership (Sterling McCall Nissan in Houston) flat out denied me any service. I then contacted Nissan N. America (Michael Arbuckle @ 800-NISSAN1 ext. 57749) & worked with an agent who told me to go back to the dealership & have it diagnosed & worked upon, saying
