I will attach an image of the steps I have no ip done already, almost everything works, but I can't access the server via the .noip.me domain. What I did so far was. Going to NOIP and configuring a domain "something" .noip.me Run NOIP DUC on my PC, select the domain and check it so the 3 marks go green. On my Router I did Port Forwarding (Mapping called on my router) for port no ip port 25565 (This is the step I was not sure I did it right) Ok, so to make sure the Port Forwarding is ok, I went to canyouseeme.org and check my IP and port 25565 and I get "Success" and they can see something running on that port. Again, to check if my .noip.me is working I enter that address in my Firefox and it loads my Router page, so apparently it's working (I guess) Then I go into Minecraft, but whenever I try to add "something" (Been that the name I pick for the domain URL) .noip.me or .noip.me:25565 Minecraft returns "Can't connect to server" (Same if I use "My IP:25565) So somehow my PC is still invisible I guess, or at least that port 25565 dunno) But If I do it with 192.168.1.3 or 192.168.1.3:25565 I can connect and join my server. Does anyone have some idea what I'm missing? Everything went smoothly for port forwarding and whatnot. My friends can connect to my external IP just fine. The problem is that I am trying to use a redirect host from no-ip.com. I have a servername.no-ip.biz host that redirects to my external IP. I have even done a DNS lookup to make sure the redirect is functional. When my friends or I attempt to connect to the server using the .no-ip.biz host, we get a unkown host error. Does anyone have any idea why this may be?
