I got the same issue while tns-12560: tns:protocol adapter error working on Oracle 10g database then I decided to share my experience and steps to resolve this issue. Step-1: First check your listener status. C:\>lsnrctl status The above command will show the current status of your listener. Step-2: Start the listener, if listener is not running.
