Post #1 of 2 (873 views) Permalink gdbm header or library routines are missing error.. I am getting the following error while compiling ntop 2.2 (yes I know is old) on a Cobalt Raq 550. libgdbm.so.2 exist in /usr/lib/ and gdbm.h exist in /usr/include/ I search Google with no luck.. I have also tried --with-gdbm-root=/usr/lib/ and nothing... Any ideas how to fix this? [In reply to] Read the actual error message in config.log. When the 2nd piece (testing an actual function in the library) fails it's not always clear what the actual error is - all ./configure detects is that it failed. But the real test program, message, etc. is always in config.log. -----Burton > -----Original Message----- > From: ntop-bounces [at] unipi [mailto:ntop-bounces [at] unipi]On Behalf Of > Paul Aviles > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 8:57 PM > To: ntop [at] Unipi > Subject: [Ntop] gdbm header or library routines are missing error.. > > > I am getting the following error while compiling ntop 2.2 (yes I know is > old) on a Cobalt Raq 550. libgdbm.so.2 exist in /usr/lib/ and gdbm.h exist > in /usr/include/ > > I search Google with no luck..
