settings to the date it was manufactured 13/05/2011. Once I input the correct settings and restart it will work fine. I think its the BIOS battery gone (6 months?). So the question is where is the CMOS battery located? I pull out the motherboard but cant honestly see it. Does it have any? Also would anyone know the part no for CMOS battery? But you can charge the RTC battery. In such case the main battery has to be connected. Then connect the AC adaptor and power up the notebook. Workaround Update the firmware and Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) of the SAS adapter to the current levels (BIOS Version 6.26.00, Firmware Version 1.27.86) or later. Additional information Older versions of the SAS Host Bus Adapter (HBA) BIOS may exhibit this error when scanning the SAS Connectivity module and display the above message. The updated BIOS and firmware corrects this issue.
