Feb 6, 2005 Messages: 9 Location: Southern Kansas City My Outlook Express version 6.00.2900.2810 and WinXP Home SP2 is giving me an "out of memory error" every time I try to retrieve emails from my second ISP ... I have both SBC-DSL and an older Dial-up ISP that I get several emails through everyday ... Outlook Express will always retrieve the ones from my DSL server but after around 10 or less emails from my older mail account I get the error message listed above ... I have tried to reload IE 6.01 and Outlook Express but it says I have a newer version already installed so it will not let me ..even after I have reset the "IsInstalled" subkey to "0" in the registry as https://forums.techguy.org/threads/solved-outlook-express-could-not-be-started-out-of-memory-0x800c012e-5-please-help.499052/ Microsoft suggested ... Here is the exact wording in the Outlook Express task box that pops up when I try to aces my mail .... “An attempt to allocate memory failed. The system is out of memory. Account: 'Mich54', Server: 'mail.myvine.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x8007000E” Another person (ISP Help Support) said he felt it was caused by a corrupted or missing "dll" file keeping Outlook Express from fully opening properly ... that is why I tried to reload http://forum.pcmech.com/threads/outlook-express-out-of-memory-error.133443/ Outlook Express and Internet Explorer .. but for some reason Windows won't let me ... This same tech at my second ISP support said I needed to run XP’s version of scandisk and then defrag my hard drives to free up space on them. Ran Disk Clean Up on both Hard Drives ... let it remove any file it suggested ... then ran “Error Checking” on both drives (found No Problems) followed by Disk Defragmentor on both drives (even though it said I did not need to defrag)... All went exactly as I expected ..OK. Now have: Disk "C" (Master Drive) 28.6GB Total 20.1GB Free Disk "G" (Slave Drive) 27.9GB Total 19.9GB Free I use my "G" Drive to store my emails from Outlook Express on but this is how I have had it set up for over a year and until last week every thing was working just fine .... I also did a restore to a previous date over a month ago (before this problem started) and although WinXP says restore was successful, I still get the same error when ever I try to download emails from my second ISP. Error Message: An attempt to allocate memory failed. The system is out of memory. Account: 'Mich54', Server: 'mail.myvine.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x8007000E Which showed up after receiving 28 emails from my first ISP and 5 out of 42 emails from my second ISP ... One thing that may help ident

Solved Outlook Express Errors - out of http://www.insideoe.com/problems/errors.htm memory Posted on 2007-01-03 Windows OS 1 Verified Solution 13 Comments 4,985 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-29 I have a problem with Outlook Express. When it is open, the message preview window shows nothing, and when a message or outlook express a contact name is double clicked, I get these error messages…. “One or more parts of this message could not be opened” “There was an error opening this message. There is not enough memory” When OE is closed off, it is still running in the background and another instance cannot be started until I go into the task manager and end the “Msimn.exe” process. Then it loads up but with the same problem. I have run outlook express out a full trend micro online scan and found nothing. This occurs in safe mode as well. I have compacted mailboxes several times, as well as backed up the mailbox store and uninstalled OE and then reinstalled with new identity and still the same problem. I have loaded the DBX store onto another computer and identity and it worked fine. Am I looking at a full format here or is there something else I can do? Please any help would be apprec…. Thanks!
