Whenever I put the drive in a PC (tried Windows 2000, XP, and 2003) it shows as a removeable disk but when I double-click on it, it tells me to "Please insert disk into drive E".I've already spoken with the person I bought it from (eBay) and I can send it back for replacement or refund. However, due to the data that's on it being confidential I am concerned that I will send it back, they will have seen the issue before and fix it, and then the data that's on it will be accessible to them. My main question here is, is there a way for me to format this drive so I can be certain the data is gone?I have tried going to disk management and the drive is seen, however there are no paritions or anything showing up so I can't delete and re-create. I tried using PC inspector and it sees the drive as "Busy" and can't access it.Anyone have any ideas on how I can get this thing working or at least formatted? Thanks,Ethan PeterN Ars Centurion Tribus: Not to be confused with Peter N. They seem to have a fix there.Pete exorr Wise, Aged Ars Veteran Registered: May 27, 2001Posts: 188 Posted: Thu Aug 18, 2005 11:21 pm Unfortunetly I tried all that without any luck...Anyone else have an idea? exorr Wise, Aged Ars Veteran Registe
