I recently bought a new Macbook Pro and I am in the process of installing Pro Tools LE 8. The pro tools le installation went successfully, but when I went to open the program after restarting, I received an error stating: Error #-5000 while verifying your authorization. unknown error. If anyone could give me a solution to this it would be much appreciated. #1 Asthuran, Dec 27, 2009 DeltaMac uix_expand uix_collapse Tech Joined: Jun 20, 2001 Messages: 8,380 Likes Received: 67 From Digidesign support forums - http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=253618 Most seem to be fixed by uninstalling, then reinstalling.
