If you aren't load IE goto tools -> internet options -> Connections and click on lan settings. Then unclick use proxy make sure the only thing clicked in automatically detect settings click ok. You can also get to Internet options through the control panel btw. After this I would make sure to get a copy of malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org and run that (its free you don't need to unable to connect buy the paid version although I'm sure the company would like you to). Go to the settings in Chrome. Go to Advanced Settings (its all the way down). Scroll to Network Section and click on ''Change proxy settings''. A window will pop up with the name ''Internet Properties'' Click on ''LAN settings'' Un-check ''Use a proxy server for your LAN'' Check ''Automatically detect settings'' Click everything ''OK'' and you are done! share|improve this answer answered Feb 27 '15 at 1:12 Mike Grace 9,29963471 Thanks - this solved it for me –AnonDCX Aug 27 at 5:46 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Internet explorer has a reset to factory button and luckily so does chrome! try the link below and let us know. the other option is to stop chrome and delete the c:\users\%username%\
