(NP-2244-2)"I bought three games in a row and it worked flawlessly, but any transaction from thereon does not work anymore. I've searched and it seems to be a common problem. It has been suggested to clear the billing info and re-enter it in but problem persists. I even tried calling my credit card company/ bank to see if they were blocking my transaction but they did not find anything restricting my access.Does anyone know the real fix to this problem? You can then simply transfer it over to your vita once it finishes downloading. However, an error has been cropping up that's managed to piss a fair few people off --NP-2244-2. This code accompanies a message that reads, "The connection to the server has been lost," when attempting to access http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Network-Support/PSN-Error-NP-2244-2/td-p/37142656 the PlayStation Store. Once the error occurs, most users find it incredibly difficult to get back into the Store without encountering it. It's stopping asignificantnumber of users from purchasing content. I've encountered this error myself, and judging from similar experiences,NP-2244-2 seems most likely to occur when you're downloading multiple items at once. While attempting to download a Rayman: Origins demo and Big Trouble In Little China at the same https://www.destructoid.com/np-2244-2-error-prevents-ps-vita-users-accessing-ps-store-222864.phtml time, I found I couldn't browse the store for any more games. One of our readers, Alex, had bought four games at once, then found himself locked out of the Store as if it were a barkeep telling him he'd had enough. One suggested solution is to clear all billing data, although currently there's little evidence that it's been working for people. A quick search for the error code on Twitter reveals a lot of Vita users complaining about it, and sharing frustration that Sony has not commented. Some have even stated that they've been locked out for days. I've contacted Sony asking for details on the error, and hopefully there's a solution in the works. Destructoid will fill you in when Sony has more to say. The article continues below. Grid Kuroato Media’s Fallen World is slashing its way to iOS and PC New Ghost Recon Online Update 0.12.0 Announced. Error Code NP-2244-2 PlayStation Vita Anthony Carrera July 11, 2013 Games News, Other News, Ps Vita Error code NP-2244-2 is thrown up when some customers try to activate their ten-game Vita Mega Bundle; an 8GB SD card with codes to download ten digital games (including LittleBigPlanet Vita, WipeOut 2048 and MotorStorm RC). The games compilation costs £35 on its own, and as part of a additional promotion it can be bought with a Wi-Fi Vita for about £230. However, customers have contacted CVG to claim that Sony is not responding to complaints that the download codes are not working. "When we go to redeem our codes at the check out, we get shown all of our games etc, go to press redeem and we are greeted with error NP-2244-2. It's so frustrating. Being ignored on every way we are trying to contact Sony right now. With the official bundle out now I can only see this problem getting much worse." Expresses a reader, Marti Users began complaining about the error on the official PlayStation Europe blog on June 19. Customers explained how the issue wasn't resolved after phoning Sony's help lines, and were wrongly advised to call their banks as the issue was believed to be a banking one. Finally on, July 3, a community representative said the matter was being looked into. Although the forum thread was marked as ‘solved', on July 8 the rep wrote: Unfortunately I have had no update on this issue. I'm going to chase this up today though. Writer's Opinion As a PlayStation Vita owner myself it is disappointing to hear the neglect that Sony has given the European community especially with the low sales the PlayStation Vita has, this is the last thing Sony needs for their year old handheld. This could potentially hurt the Vita market in the European region and could drastically effect future sales of the Vita in European markets. Although Sony is known for giving back to gamers for faulty technology let us not forget the free games that were given after the PlayStation black out of 2011 but it will take more than a couple of free games to silence this heated crowd only time will tell what Sony's move is on this resolution.
