The RSS Feed Microsoft at Work keeps erroring. "Task RSS Feeds reported error (0x8004010F). The operation failed. http://office-outlook.com/outlook-forum/index.php/m/433273/ An object cannot be found." How do i fix this issue Wednesday, November 09, 2011 4:14 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote My fix was to take rss feed the RSS Feeds out of send/receive. No errors since Tools>Send/receive>send/receive settings>Define send/receive groups. Click edit on all accounts. Go to either RSS on the left or uncheck RSS in the folder options or Open Outlook 2007. From the Tools menu choose Options . Click the Mail Setup tab. Click the Send/Receive button. With All Accounts selected, click Edit . In the Accounts rss feeds reported pane on the left hand side, select RSS . Un-check (deselect) the Include RSS Feeds in this Send/Receive group box. Note : This will place a red "X" over the RSS account. Click OK . That is the usual cause of errors. Go to Tools, Account Settings, RSS and copy the url. Paste it into the address bar of your browser and see if it works. The address i get on their site is http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/community/rss.xmland its working ok in outlook. 2007, RSS Feeds not updating - error (0x8004010F)Home» General Outlook opportunities» Outlook Outlook 2007, RSS Feeds not updating - error (0x8004010F) [message #433273] Wed, 22 October 2008 06:46 Scott TownsendMessages: 19Registered: August 2006 Junior Member When sending/receiving in Outlook 2007 I get this several times: Task 'RSS Feeds' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object cannot be found.' I saw many posts on a fix which was to delete your profile or to not use RSS Feeds, neither were an option for me... For those that Want to keep your RSS Feeds and not re-create your profile.... there is a way... You go to Tools, Account Settings, RSS Feeds. Click on a feed, then click the 'Change Folder' Button. Don't Change the Folder, Just Be sure that the proper folder is selected (Most were in my case, though many were failing) Then Click 'OK', then 'Close' Hit F9 to Send/Receive...
