Then it is followed by options on picking my primary search provider. I tried to choose my options, but it does not accept and I am totally annoyedwith having to close the two windows each and every time I open Internet Exployer. I have Microsoft security, but it wormed into my computer anyhow. How do I get rid of this? Please say so, Otherwise click on the gear symbol on the top right if you have ie9, And click on manage addons, Click on search providers and click on bing and click on set as default, You can also click on the down arrow next to (show) on the bottom left and click on show all, Review this list and or post your findings here, because we have no idea what your referring to (it) ? corrupted your default search provider settings for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has reset this settings to your original search provider, Bing (www.bing.com). Internet Explorer will now open Search Settings, where you can change this setting or install more search providers. However, even after changing the search provider settings, the problem remains when you open IE8.
