Module … not found up vote 0 down vote favorite I am developing an application for OS https://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/quot-Error-Starting-Module-not-found-quot-adding-external-jar-to/td-p/296224 5.0 and above. I am receiving an error when running it on OS 4.6 and I can't enter the application. What I wanna do is make a try catch to get the error and start the application on OS 4.6 even if a module is not found. For example I want to launch a Main Screen where I want to notify the user to download the new OS version in order to use http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6997362/error-starting-application-module-not-found the application. Any hint about this topic? The best solution though is to inform your user base what device/OS combinations you support. If you are doing the installation OTA is is quite easy to detect the OS version from the UserAgent string and act accordingly. share|improve this answer answered Aug 9 '11 at 15:07 Richard 8,62421222 Hey Richard, I made a seperate project that will check the version of an application and if it is the case, it will launche another project attached as a library in the same package. But I am getting the same error. What did you mean by a starter application? and if so how can I link the application with the starter application? I did that by marking the app as a library but this didn't work –Farid Farhat Aug 10 '11 at 14:57 1 Did you compile your launcher fo

Encoding matter. felixbillon closed this Apr 15, 2015 YonatanKra commented Apr 28, 2015 I have a similiar issue. Could you please add some more info on the solution? jgebhardt commented May 3, 2015 Try running webpack --display-error-details. The error may not be related to file resolution. 👍 114 😄 11 🎉 9 epeli commented Oct 8, 2015 Had this error today. I'm commenting here because this is the first hit in Google with the error message. There was nothing wrong with my webpack.config.js but there was a syntax error in my package.json which caused this. Better error message would be cool. This error has been seen here too webpack/karma-webpack#33 👍 24 🎉 9 lucygeneric commented Nov 16, 2015 wow thanks @jgebhardt --display-error-details saved my bacon
