- SQL error code = 901 - Feature not supported. You may follow the steps below or you may print-out the one-page PDF below. There are two approaches to resolving this issue. If plan a fails to resolve the issue, move on to https://gradiencesupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/211870466-Gradience-Pro-Enterprise-Dynamic-SQL-Error-901 plan B. Plan A: Remove the hrware.ini file from the client workstation. One XP or Server http://firebird-support.yahoogroups.narkive.com/DEwPZe4E/execute-block-sql-error-901-isc-error-335544569 2003 this file is located at c:\Windows On Vista, Windows 7, server 2008 this file is at c:\Programdata\Gradience 2. Reinstall the software. (No need to uninstall.) During reinstall, select [Standalone] > [Express]. 3. Launch to verify the software connects to the new, blank, [local] database. No product key needed, continue in demo mode. 4. Close the program and navigate to the sql error hrware.ini file and change the two lines under [HRWARE] at the top to repoint to the server. Do [not] map a drive to the database on the server and do [not] use UNC (\\) in the PATH line or the SERVER line. Our software uses TCP/IP to connect so using a mapped drive or UNC will [not] work. 5. Launch the program once again and it should connect without error. If the error persists, move on to Plan firebird sql error B below. Plan B: 1. Uninstall Gradience. 2. Uninstall FireBird. 3. Rename the Common folder. On Windows XP or Server 2003 this folder is located at C:\program files\gradience On Vista, Windows 7, server 2008 this file is at C:\program files (x86)\gradience 4. Rename the HRWARE.INI file. One XP or Server 2003 this file is located at c:\Windows On Vista, Windows 7, server 2008 this file is at c:\Programdata\Gradience 5. Open the Registry Editor. In Windows XP and Server 2003: Click Start > Run and enter regedit and click OK. In Windows 7, Windows 8 and Server 2008: Click Start and type regedit in the address bar and press your Enter key. 6. When the editor opens, click File > Export. The Export Registry File popup will open. 7. Enter a file name at the bottom and click Save. This will back up your registry as a precaution. 8. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE and delete the Gradience folder. 9. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and delete the Gradience folder. 10. Reinstall the software as a Standalone and Express. We realize this will point it locally. 11. Open hrware.ini and repoint it to the server without mapping a drive and without using UNC.
