Check ALL hard drives for multiple copies of the NOTES.INI file. RA will use the first copy of NOTES.INI that it finds. 2. to server Make sure that the directory c:\notes is in the path statement. Remember that RA will use the first copy of nnotes.dll that it finds in the path. 3. Check ALL hard drives for multiple copies of the unable to find nnotes.dll file. If there are other copies that are first in the path (before c:\notes) we will use that one first and RA will not be able to find any servers 4. If your Link document is using "Lotus Notes" as the data source type, make sure that the ODBC data source "RA Lotus Notes" does not list any server names or database paths ("RA Lotus Notes" is found in the ODBC Data Source Administrator under the "System DSN" file tab). Solved Error: Unable to find path to server while Connecting Lotus Notes through NotesSQL 8.5.1 Posted on 2010-06-18 Lotus IBM 1 Verified Solution 11 Comments 4,557 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-18 As the subject depicts, I am writing a code in JAVA which connects with Lotus Notes Database hosted on a Domino server using an ODBC DSN. When in code I just going to open the connection, the application throws an exception saying: - "java.sql.SQLException: [Lotus][ODBC Lotus Notes]Unable to find path to server. To trace this connection, use File - Preferences - User Preferences - Ports - Trace (Notes client) or Trace command (Domino server)" I have also checked the connection in access by selecting the opion "File --> Get External Data ---> Import ----> ODBC" but the message is still the same. I have also checked the firewall settings at both ends but it's turned off. While creating the ODBC connection when enter the server, it does populate the list of databases. Could it be the problem of any port?? Please let me know what could be done. I want to connect to Lotus Notes database and push and pull the records on scheduled basis. 0 Question by:NavHard Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 22 Best Solution bymbonaci Here's everything you need to know: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/domhelp/v8r0/topic/com.ibm.designer.domino.main.doc/H_9_CODING_GUIDELINES_JAVA.html E.g. here's the example of getting Go to Solution 11 Comments LVL 22 Overall: Level 22 Lotus IBM 21 Message Expert Comment by:mbonaci2010-06-18 You have Lotus Notes client installed locally, open it and try to open any database on that server using Ctrl + o.
