Hoo! my 1st post Join Date 2010-08 Posts 1 Revit 2010 'Unrecoverable error has occurred' message after installation I have recently re-installed my Revit Architecture 2010 and I am now getting an error message reading; 'An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?124140-Revit-2010-Unrecoverable-error-has-occurred-message-after-installation there is no need to create recovery files' I have searched forums for a solution and I have tried the following with none of them fixing the problem: - Rolling back to SP2 - Updating graphics driver (ATI Radeon X300) - Reinstalling windows XP (32bit) - Updating Internet Explorer. My machine is a Dell Optiplex GX280 running with 3Gb of RAM. Can any body help? You are working in your local file and experience a Revit crash.2. When opening the local file back up, you receive an unrecoverable error has occurred message.3. The central file still opens normally, but an unrecoverable error the local fie will not. This is typically caused by the workset assignments not being properly saved in the local file. Since the project crashed, they were not closed out properly. If you try to open the local file with the Open > Workset > Specify option, Revit will crash again. To open the local file without the crash, specify Workset > All instead during the project open. This should open the local file normally, and it can be properly saved once open. After the file is re-saved and closed the Specify option should work as expected.
