Posts: 2 Joined: Sat Aug 23, 2014 7:57 pm DS Video Network Error Quote Postby shwabo » Sat Aug 23, 2014 8:42 pm Hello, I'm having a problem using the DS Video app from both my Galaxy S3 and S5. The app worked great from either phone when I first installed it and we have had no problems watching video either locally while at home verizon cloud or when we were out away from home. The problem started after hitting the Delete All History in the address options screen of the app. Now, anytime we try to play video via the web, we get one of two messages. On the S3 the message is "Sorry cannot play video at this time" and on the S5 it says "Network error occurred". Both these phones worked perfectly before hitting the Delete All History button. Both phones allow you to connect via the web, you can browse verizon cloud login the movies, but when you hit play we get the error. If we login locally (via IP while home) with the HTTPS button unticked, it works. Both phones are running Android KitKat 4.4.2.We also have two Kindle Fire Tablets with the DS Video app that work perfectly fine streaming from the outside via HTTPS using the same Synology accounts we use on our phones. Also, it works off of any PC and\or Laptop via HTTPS in a web browser. I've had Video Station setup for quite some time now on the DS212j and have never had a problem with it.I tried clearing the cache on the app, uninstalling\re-installing, deleting the one DS Video directory that I found from the phones which has not helped to resolve the issue. I don't want to factory wipe the phone(s) if I don't have to, but at this point I feel that is the only way to possibly get it to work again on the phones.Has anyone else run into this problem with the DS Video app? If you have, is there a fix to get it to work again? Or does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas that I can try? Please let me know. Thanks!! Top shwabo I'm New!
