Firstly i am http://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/wad-manager-install-error-s.663102/ running 3.3 Firmware with a D2SUN v2.1 Mod Chip - which is working fine. I have homebrew channel installed. I also installed WAD Manager (Latest Version) on ran the application. However when i try and load a WAD to install a get an https://tapatalk.com/topic/27398-gbatemp-net/442985-wads-not-installing-error-2011 error of "Ret = -1 ". Then the Wii re-starts itself. I then installed previous versions of WAD Manager and all come up with the same error. I have tried two different SD Cards, and still the same error. The SD Card wad manager is set as follows: Root - wadmanager/wadmanager files Root - wad/title1.wad Root - wad/title2.wad I also installed Wad Installer 2.1 and ran the twlight hack. However i get an error of "Ret = 2" doing that, and the Wii Restarted. I can only assume its do with a cIOS, but i have never installed custom files e.t.c, and im not sure how this works. Therefore does anyone have a possible solution i can try? Thanks, envy envy1985, Oct 12, 2008 #1 drakoniss Regular member error installing wads Joined: Oct 1, 2008 Messages: 218 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 it means 2 things one either you dont have enough memory on ur wii left or two your wads are damaged or injected wrong when someone wanted to inject other roms into them. drakoniss, Oct 12, 2008 #2 envy1985 Member Joined: Jun 23, 2008 Messages: 11 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 Thanks Draknoiss, however i have now done the following: 1. Re-formatted the Wii System Memory including Gamesaves & Channels 2. Re-installed Homebrew Channel 3. Obtained new WADs. 4. Re-copied 1.21 Wad Manager & New wads to (2) SD Card(s) 5. Run Homebrew Channel and again the same error - "Ret = -1" - Click A to Re-boot Wii. So its the same error. Therefore available space and bad Wads, are now ruled out. Is there another solution? It is possibly the whole cIOS? envy1985, Oct 12, 2008 #3 wiichess Regular member Joined: Sep 17, 2007 Messages: 571 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 uninstall any custom IOS you have. Unless its sneaked on with something. Therefore i can only assume it was installed with an application, but i have only installed Homebrew & Gecko OS. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Custom_IOS_Module just doesnt seem to provide much information. I would appreciate it if you could tell me in a step-by-step method.:)I usually use Multi-Mod Manager and it only requires pressing left on the d-pad to pick a different slot. It requires you have a non-WiiMotion+ controller or a GC one, though.YAWMM should have also an option to pick which IOS you want it to use but I can't recall as I don't usually use it.The -2011 error indicates that the wad manager can't write to the NAND because it doesn't have access to it.
