when I want to install patches to 4.0.6a all of them are zipped (downloaded from http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors), I've extracted those to wow folder (wow.tfil and wow.mfil to main folder, those wow-xxxxx-xxxxx-Win-final.MPQ to ''Updates'' and those wow-update-xxxxx.MPQ

to ''Data'')Now in some tutorials of how to apply zip patches, I read that I should start Blizzard Updater.exe or BNUpdate.exe (I don't have BNUpdate.exe anywhere), so when I start Blizzard Updater it says ''There is no patch file to apply.''Am I doing it wrong with copying files to those folders above or is it something else? Please help me, I'm stucked with this 2 or 3 days. Now to apply updates... There are two ways you can do this, chose one you like: - For this method you need to grab "wow-xxxxx-xxxxx-Win-final.MPQ" for update you are trying to install and move it to WoW folder, where "WoW.exe" is. And then rename it to "wow-patch.MPQ". After you did that, run "[emailprotected] Updater.exe". And it will do the update. For next update, just place all files like you did and repeat above. Till you get to proper patch. Source: http://patchup.info/wow/updating/ - Or you can make simple bat file to properly call updater. In WoW folder, create new text document, you can name it "Update.txt", open it in Notepad and place this line in it: "[emailprotected] Updater.exe" --skippostlaunch=1 --nopatchnotes=1 --patchlist="Updates\wow-xxxxx-xxxxx-Win-final.MPQ" Replace those x in "wow-xxxxx-xxxxx-Win-final.MPQ" with numbers from update you are trying to install. Save and change file extension by renaming "Update.txt" to "Update.bat" and run it. It should call Bliz updater and tell it to aply file specified. Just in this case, make sure final.mpq is in Updates fo

Warcraft 3 Patch Error 2016
View Started Threads Keyboard Turner Join Date Aug 2011 Posts 6 Patching to warcraft 1.24d patch 4.0.6 problem, please help! I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, I'll be glad to move it bnupdate.exe warcraft 3 download if needed. I've been trying to patch up from 4.0.0, having just installed Cataclysm, but I can't use the launcher due to an internet filter problem that can't be solved at the http://forum.monster-wow.com/index.php?/topic/2211-problem-with-zip-patches/ moment, so I've just always used patch mirrors. They all worked good up to 4.0.1a, but then the patch mirror for 4.0.3 came up with an error. The file that I downloaded was an MPQ, so I moved it to my WoW directory, renamed it to wow-patch.mpq, and ran the Blizzard Updater like it says you're supposed to, and came up with this error: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/952790-Patching-to-4-0-6-problem-please-help! The file "patch.cmd" in archive "C:\Users\Desktop\Folders\World of Warcraft\wow-patch.MPQ" could not be opened, because an error 2 occurred. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (MPQFile::OpenFromArchive) I've tried everything else that I've seen from searching the problem on Google, such as running the Blizzard Updater as an administrator, as well as putting the file in Updates as well as Data, but it all gave me the same error. I know the problem isn't with my launcher, because my friend is having the same problem as me, but his launcher works, it's just really really slow. We both get the same errors. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, I'm honestly stuck. I've put them in the WoW folder and warcraft 3 patch ran Blizzard Updater, but just get the message "There is no patch file to apply." I've tried this in the root World of Warcraft folder, World of Warcraft/Data and World of Warcraft/Updates but with no luck.I've also tried changing the name of the file to wow-patch.mpq (by the suggestion of a page I found on Google), and then I get the message:"The file "patch.cmd" in archive "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\wow-patch.MPQ" could not be opened, because an error 2 occurred.
