I play Brawl and Goldeneye a wii error 52131 lot, but recently we bought a new wireless router it's called Talk Talk.So when Iam in Brawl Iam waiting a long time (sometimes) to get somewhere then all a sudden game goes Iam back at the start menu with http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=51331&system=Wii&locale=lang this code. Then I try to reconnect up but it won't let me, it says the code.So then I unplug the plug of the router for 30 secs then try again, then Iam having the same code again so I wait for 1 hour or so and then it comes back on.Is it the router not good enough for the speed connection on the Wii?This is just my theory User Info: Lee_Emmott Lee_Emmott - 6 years ago Top http://www.gamefaqs.com/wii/928518-super-smash-bros-brawl/answers/260073-what-does-error-code-51331-mean Voted Answer (from Nintendo's website)"Error Code: 51331Unable to connect to your wireless networkLikely cause: It appears that the security settings entered into the Wii console are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow. How to fix: Make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Wii exactly as they appear in your router's settings.Once you have entered the correct WEP or WPA key into your system, try the connection test again. If the problem persists, keep reading this page. Additional information:Using an Actiontec or 2Wire router? The default security key is often found on a sticker located on the router.Security keys are case-sensitive.WEP keys contain numbers 0 through 9, and only letters A through F.Other suggestions:Did this connection used to work but has suddenly stopped? "Power cycle" your router by unplugging it from the power outlet. Wait a few minutes, and plug the modem back in. Wait a couple of minutes for the modem to initialize, then plug in the router. Try to connect the Wii or Nintendo DS online and test for proper response. The Wii may have detected and set itself to the wrong security type during the initial connection set up. Try creating a new connection file and going through the connection process again (steps), but be sure that when the Wii asks for a security code, the type

I'm getting Error Code 51331, and I have a secured Linksys router. I've browsed the forums, and I found solutions, but I am completely internet illiterate in this case and do not know how to do the things that were suggested (like add MAC address (what is that?), change DHCP (again, what is that?), etc) Anyone able to give me a step-by-step explanation on how to fix this? Would be appreciated! Thanks. Share Share this post on Digg Twitter Share on Facebook Reddit!
