Sometime ago it buzzed and I zune error turned it off and then turned on again. But when I turned it back on, it showed on the display only Zune logo, and then send number 5, go to support, and then I was trying to format it and I pressed back+left+center. First it came out like please wait… then clearing content, then connect to the computer for installing firmware, I was trying to do that but the respond was an error that said I don't have enough of c00d124f error zune space on my Zune, error code C00D124F. It suggested to go to the website but on the official website it said that there is no resolution for this problem is not found yet. If anybody know how to fix it please let me know… thanks a lot and I really appreciate it. Reply Quote So I got a black Zune 80GB Original about six months ago and have been incredibly happy with it - until maybe one month ago when MS forced the 2.5 firmware update on me. Now I (along with several other Zune board members) have been encountering an error code C00D124F - which asserts that there is not enough space on the Zune's hard drive to complete the firmware update. The thread regarding this error can be found here: http://forums.zune.net/247397/ShowPost.aspx In case you don't care to read through the whole thing, for whatever reason something lands itself on the Zune that tells *any* computer it is attached to (and I've tried it with my Vista Ultimate boot, my XP SP3 boot, and my parent's XP SP2 computer) that it has a 1GB capacity - as opposed to its rightful 80x that. No amount or combination of soft resets, hard resets, complete wipes, fresh Zune software installs, etc. will fix it. I even wiped my Vista drive (for other reasons), installed all the prereq software and then the Zune software before reinstalling anything else, tried it again - no dice. The only solution I have found anywhere that works for anyone (other than sending the Zune in and getting it replaced - I am technically still under warranty but would rather solve this without MS's 'help') is to buy a new clean 1.8" hard drive and replace it (however you do that). Obviously the first thing that came to my mind was "well, formatting the drive would do the same thing, right?" Turns out there are already a couple ways to make the Zune show in the Explorer shell in the form of a patcher at http://www.zuneboard
