It says updata php but where? How? Kunena member mahagr commented Dec 11, 2012 Can you enter the exact error message into here? We fixed the issue by upgrading PHP 5.2 into PHP 5.3. You need to ask your hosting company how to upgrade PHP. Just a word of warning: if you go for PHP 5.4, make sure that every PHP software in your site(s) has been updated to the latest version. For example Joomla 1.5 doesn't work too well in it. JagFiveO commented Dec 11, 2012 Thanks for the reply. It seems I figured it out. I was unsure about how to do this seeing as I'm on a shared server. I found that all I had to do was add: # Use PHP 5.3 AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .php To my .htaccess file and the problem was solved. I don't think this is going to work for everyone though but the server host has 5.3 installed on all shared boxes but I'm not sure why it's not the default. JagFiveO closed this Dec 11, 2012 Kunena member mahagr commented Dec 12, 2012 @JagFiveO Good to know even if this doesn't work in all hosts (only those which have PHP 5.3 installed).
