The network logon failed. (1790)" when publishing our intranet site. The server itself has 2 websites on it (Intranet HTTP and Intranet HTTPS). The http one is configured with 2 host headers on port 80 (intranet and intranet.internaldomainname). The https one is configured with 1 host header on port 443 (intranet.externaldomainname). The https one also has our certificate bound to it. When testing the rule, I get the same error message. I have published this exactly the same as OWA and OWA works fine (even though testing the OWA rule fails!!). Any ideas? Thanks Post #: 1 Featured Links* RE: The network logon failed - 9.Sep.2008 4:52:32 PM Jason Jones Posts: 4663 Joined: 30.Jul.2002 From: United Kingdom Status: offline What delegation method are you using? What authentication method does you intranet web server use? Some details of your publishing rule may be handy... This used to work ok, so there is obviuosly something very subtle not right but I can't see what is wrong, has anyone seen this problem before, if so can they give me some ideas and things to try. I'm guessing it's something to do with the SSL or the Certificate Many thanks 0 Question by:Steveh24 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution bySteveh24 I have looked at the links you gave me, but they are for a hard error, whereas I can eventually get in to my OWA by pressing the F5 Key, but I have now fixed the problem, it was an incorrect Authentication Go to Solution 6 Comments LVL 32 Overall: Level 32 Exchange 29 MS Forefront-ISA 2 Message Expert Comment by:gupnit2008-08-01 Hi, Here is a link if you have already not use it... http://searchexchange.techtarget.com/expert/KnowledgebaseAnswer/0,289625,sid43_gci947863,00.html http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/error505.html http://reidablog.blogspot.com/2007/10/error-code-500-internal-server-error.html Thanks Niitn 0 Message Accepted Solution by:Steveh242008-08-06 I have looked at the links you gave me, but they are for a hard error, whereas I can eventually get in to my OWA by pressing the F5 Key, but I have now fixed the problem, it was an incorrect Authentication set in IIS and the OWA is now working properly
