My site will be humming along fine but then I'll notice it beginning to bog down until finally I receive the 500 error. I https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?162393-500-Internal-Server-Error-on-GoDaddy-hosting ran mysqlcheck and found nothing amiss there, so I'm wondering if a script is causing the hang up. Could someone with firebug or wedev take a quick peak and tell me if there might be an issue with a script or two? Tidy isn't showing me anything critical but I'd appreciate some fresh eyes and or opinions. http://minu.me/2tc5 Thank you, Stephen 22 Aug 2010,04:24 AM #2 DrByte View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries Visit Homepage View Articles Sensei Join Date Jan 2004 Posts 63,537 Blog Entries5Plugin Contributions184 Re: 500 Internal Server Error Originally Posted by jabbawest My site will be humming along fine but then I'll notice it beginning to bog down until finally I receive the 500 error. Have you talked to your hosting company about this problem? Sounds like a server issue. Plus, about the "scripts" you mention (I assume you mean "javascript" since you talked about checking with firebug), unless they're doing ajax, then the 500 error is almost certainly unrelated, since a "500 Internal Server Error" is being sent to you by the *server*, when *it* encounters an error ... and javascript doesn't run on the *server* (it runs in the browser only). A good server administrator will be able to find specific error details explaining the cause of "500" errors in the server logs. That's the best place to start when trying to figure out what's causing those problems. . Zen Cart -

The site was fine on my testing server, but then when I moved it to my client's GoDaddy Hosting Server, I get all kinds of errors. When I tried to install my Visual Composer plugin, which was only being used on two 500 internal pages, I get the 500 error. I removed the plugin and have spoken with both the plugin developer and GoDaddy...both sending me to the other to each other to resolve the issue. Now, I have given up on that and am building a custom page template in Dynamik. After working with that, I get the 500 error again. I don't know why.... Is this a GoDaddy hosting issue 500 internal server that anyone has seen before? is this common with GoDaddy. I have only 4 plugins running. 3 total themes installed. I don't believe it's a space issue. Thank you in advance.
