before. If I click no, I get another error message, but otherwise the same outcome. Very very very annoying. Here's the details: activex error 429 windows 8 Win 98, Office 2000 (and I reinstalled it, nothing changed), IE 6.0.2800.1106. I am running Spybot Search & Destroy and Zone Alarm, which I update regularly. Before you recommend I change my security preferences in IE, I already https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/319844 did. All my settings for ActiveX say Enable, which is not something I'm happy about. But it didn't even make a difference. Any ideas? Top new activeX error messages by raghup » Wed, 05 May 2004 15:53:35 Hi Linda, The CAUSE for the issue: This behavior has changed from the behavior in Microsoft Office XP. An ActiveX control that has not been registered as a Safe For Initialization (SFI) control and does not http://www.yqcomputer.com/1047_9896_1.htm implement IObjectSafety will be treated as an Unsafe For Initialization (UFI) control and you will be prompted to load the ActiveX controls. WORKAROUND To work around this behavior, when you create your Office document that contains ActiveX controls, use a comparable control that is included with Forms. For example, if you use a custom tab control in your document, use the Forms Multipage control instead. Also look into this http://www.yqcomputer.com/ sdconDevelopingUsingActiveXControls.asp The other option would be to try to rename Normal.dot. Thank You... But when use IE9(32bit), I try anything I can find on web, it reports error "Automation server can't create object." I even created a static html file, save it in my hard disk, and then open it with IE9(32bit), it worked fine. Then I put the html file on my web site, visit the html activex error 429 file with url, then it came up with the error message again. I have worked on this problem for 4 days, any suggestion would be appreciated. 3Q. So, something in the IE9 settings prevented the certenroll activex object from running. I should have back up the regedit status to compare the difference. I hope this issue can help you. –Nicholas_Lin Mar 29 '13 at 13:08 Is you website added to the trusted zone? –Alex Mendez Apr 24 '14 at 18:34 1 There is a bug in IE10 and IE11 (probably IE9 too), that if you have set a custom security level, then use the "Reset all zones to default level" button, and then view the settings via "Custom level...", the radio buttons will not accurately reflect the reset settings. Make sure to hit OK to close out of Internet Options after using "Reset all zones", then check the settings via "Custom level...", and the radio buttons will reflect the true settings. –ovinophile Jun 2 at 17:07 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 19 down vote a) Go to Tools-->Internet Options b)

kmk691 answered 1 year ago report Comments (0) | New Comment Add New Comment 0 Edit Answer (for another -33 minute) Hi, the error you get means that some ActiveX components of BMI Library (ocx or dll files) are not registered in your system. You can try to install BMI Library again or you can try to register BMI's ActiveX compontents (serach in the installation folder of BMI Lib for dll's and register them in your system using the windows command 'regsvr32'). Regards elbar answered 1 year ago report Comments (0) | New Comment Add New Comment 0 Edit Answer (for another 4 minutes) Hello, It looks like activex(.ocx & .dll) files missing so please try to repair the BMI library through the add/remove programs if not solved then register the components related to .ocx &.dll to fix the issue. & please refer the doc applicable to windows xp & server 2003/2000http://abblibrary.abb.com/global/scot/scot349.nsf/veritydisplay/d2133596b3507c12c125763a005b9eb5/$file/3BSE055000_D_en_System_800xA_All_versions__Correction_of_vulnerable_OCX_files_used_in_800xA.pdf Harsha.D answered 1 year ago report Comments (0) | New Comment Add New Comment Ask a Question Upload New App Popular tags 800xA (3390) KnowledgeArticle (1876) AC 800M (1018) Freelance (658) Configuration (576) New Users syed nbergey Mulli pamboy sathish299 Follow @abbcontroltech Get weekly AKS updates Partner Exclusive Webinars > – Login to the partner portal to register Points Redemption Program -Redeem your points for ABB training, Bluetooth speakers and mugs.
