Hi guys, I have a template with VB buttons and macros.This sheet works perfectly fine in my WinXP pc.But when I tried to open the same file in the Mac there came up an error "Object Not found".Then only I came to know that ActiveX controls are not supported in activex error 429 the Mac. What can I do to correct this error.What is replacement for the activeX controls. Can anyone please come up with a solution.!!! Over 10 years ago Microsoft experimented with transitioning technologies to open source. Active-X was made open source due to the hype about rapid development and increase security. Turns out that was all just hype. Active-X was never ported to the Mac, and really hasn't been touched since it became open source years ago. Jan 23, 2013 Hi everybody, I work with Windows XP and since yesterday every time I open Studio 2011 I get the following message: "Unable to display one or more ActiveX controls for any of the following reasons: 1) The current security settings prohibit the use of ActiveX controls on this page. 2) The editor of one of the controls are locked. As a result, the page may not display correctly." Apparently this doesn't prevent Studio from working correctly. Does anybody know w
