But as mentioned, in the error you also get w3wp.exe so you can narrow down this to an IIS error, so if you only have a ntdll.dll error then try to narrow it down further. This particular error is linked to application error 1000 the error of being unable to create a log file for IIS that may manifest among other things with the following error message while opening a page: Server Error 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. (W3WP.exe - NTDLL.DLL gives exception 0x0000374) Mar 15, 2012 09:52 AM|Mark-Ciphr|LINK Hi, Our company's website has recently started suffering from a problem where some sections will hang and never load. On investigation I have found that recycling the application pool for the website resolves the problem for a while. Event viewer is showing the following at regular intervals: Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 7.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e023cf, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18541, time stamp 0x4ec3e3d5, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000b06b7, process id 0x17e8, application start time 0x01cd0271af7b61cf. Our website uses a combination of .net and PHP pages and connects to a number of MySQL databases. I have used DebugDiag to get a dump of the crashes and here is an example: Type of Analysis Performed Crash Analysis Machine Name CIP-INT-03 Operating System Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 Number Of Processors 1 Process ID 6120 Process Image c:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\w3wp.exe System Up-Time 1 day(s) 06:47:35 Process Up-Time 04:00:02 Thread 12 - System ID 3260 Entry point ntdll!TppWorkerThread Create time 15/03/2012 06:08:06 Time spent in user mode 0 Days 0:0:0.0 Time spent in kernel mode 0 Days 0:0:0.31 Full Call Stack Function Ar
