For no apparent reason whilst i am browsing the internet, on firefox, many of the applications 'stop working' and close. Including windows explorer, which is a bit frustrating. I just use the 'run' function in taskmanager to start explorer again and then everything goes back to how it was. Alps pointing device also stops and the scroll function doesn't work thereafter until the computer is restarted. I have just changed the theme to classic to save battery life. It seems to happen at least once every time i use the laptop and at no particular time or webpage. I have got the event viewer thingy showing which applications stopped and when, hope someone can help. Thanks in advance! (also if i go into the control panel the same thing will happen and explorer will shut down, this happens whenever i go into the control panel)Log Name: ApplicationSource: Application ErrorDate: 11/05/2009 16:19:19Event ID: 1000Task Category: (100)Level: ErrorKeywords: ClassicUser: N/AComputer: Jon-PCDescription:Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.6001.18164, time stamp 0x4907e242, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception code 0xc000001d, fault offset 0x00da1d50, process id 0x1250, application start time 0x01c9d24bda03fdaf.Log Name: ApplicationSource: Application ErrorDate: 11/05/2009 16:19:18Event ID: 1000Task Category: (100)Le Help Receive Real-Time Help Create a Freelance Project Hire for a Full Time Job Ways to Get Help Ask a Question Ask for Help Receive Real-Time Help Create a Freelance Project Hire for a Full Time Job Ways to Get Help Expand Search Submit Close Search Login Join Today Products BackProducts Gigs Live Careers Vendor Services Groups Website Testing Store Headlines Experts Exchange > Questions > Application Error Event ID 1000 Want to Advertise Here?
