But with only this error it is not possible to track down some details. Is that a random error or is it multiple times? Is the server using SP1 and all latest updates? For IIS you may also ask in the IIS forum instead here http://forums.iis.net/Best regards Meinolf Weber MVP, MCP, MCTS Microsoft MVP - Directory Services My Blog: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/ Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.

But as mentioned, in the error you also get w3wp.exe so you can narrow down this to an IIS error, so if you only have a ntdll.dll error then try to narrow it down further. This particular error is linked to the error of being unable to create a log file for IIS that may manifest among other things application error 1000 with the following error message while opening a page: Server Error 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
