Monitor an unlimited number of servers with $49/year With the current low prices for servers and the need for processing power, even a small company may end up with quite a few of them. If ten http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-1000-source-Application%20Error-eventno-1475-phase-1.htm years ago it was still common to see an entire company using just http://forum.sysinternals.com/application-crash-on-windows-server-2008-r2-rds_topic21453.html one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. Even with 5 minutes per server (to check the logs and other parameters), it may take application error an hour to make sure that everything is ok and no "red lights" are blinking on any of the servers. read more... Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2Applications: Microsoft Office 2007 with SP2, Microsoft Dynamics Ax, Internet Explorer 8 This issue are occuring in a Remote Desktop Services environment with several users.winword.exe are crashing occasionally, and the only known scenario for this happening is when an doc/docx-attachment in Outlook 2007 are opened. When opening the attachment 10 times, Outlook may crash one of the times. We also see application crashes in other applications on the server: Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Dynamics Ax (ax32.exe). I`ve saved a Process Monitor logfile created while making Outlook crash when opening an attachment. This logfile are available from here: http://80.203.207.194/temp/ProcMon_Logfile.zip The Windows eventlog Application are available from here: http://80.203.207.194/temp/WinAppLog.zip The server does have a Norwegian MUI pack installed, and all users got Norwegian set as display language with the use of Group Policy. There seems to be many "buffer overflows", and thefirst "buffer overflow" occurred when the WinWord.exeloaded MUI settings. Is it normal to see this man "buffer overflow" messages?Could the MUI be the reason for the application crashes?
