I've tried the F9 method and the dvd method, and both end with ghost error 19235. I'm an IT professional with 12+ years experience, so I'm not a novice to application error troubleshooting. It began with a few problems after installing some hardware drivers, so I decided to start over from scratch and restore. When I did, the restore began normally, and the at about 15%, I got the error and ghost stopped. Of course it wiped out the OS as it started, so no going back.I found some interesting threads here and elsewhere, but nothing application error 19235 has worked. Among the workarounds I've tried, I've completely deleted the partitions and reformatted the HDD (this actually got me to 27% before it crashed), I've tried booting from a WinPE install on a usb stick, putting the .gho file on a separate drive (thumb, dvd, ext hdd), tried a newer version of Ghost (11.5 vs the 11.0 that came with the Eee), re-compiling the .gho file with Ghost Explorer, and a few other things. Always the same error. I've checked the 'integrity' of the .gho file and the hdd, and both passed without a problem. I have a ticket with tech support, but hopefully someone here can point to something not considered. That error is not listed at http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...12244525&src=n I take it you imaged to a cd/dvd. If so, try a different brand to see if that helps. SMILE and post back. Let us know if it worked. [ Book mark th
