If so, ARP or MAC caching may be keeping your 'to-be-imaged' systems from looking like a new system to the DHCP server, so their request is ignored. Do you have more networks connected with routing betw. them ? If so do you have setup IP-helper-adresses? Do you have much network traffic when starting Ghost (other ghosting eg.)? 0 LVL 16 Overall: Level 16 Software-Other 3 PCs 1 Message Accepted Solution by:gurutc2007-11-13 Is your imaging station connected to a switch? If so, ARP or MAC caching may be keeping your 'to-be-imaged' systems from looking like a new system to the DHCP server, so their request is ignored. Go into the DHCP manager of your network, look at active leases, and you'll probably see a bunch that have the same name, ie, the hostname used in the imaging. Delete all those leases, repeat as necessary. You're probably out of IPs on your subnet. IPs that are still reserved by systems no longer hooked up, but which look hooked up, to the DHCP server because a switch or something between you and the DHCP server is caching the MAC of a previously but no longer connected station. Anyway, I am trying to create an image of a Dell Optiplex 980 with and Intel 82578DM NIC. On our Ghost server, I use the boot wizard to create a application error 19913 floopy to boot the Dell from. I downloaded the DOS drivers and everything seems to go fine, but after I boot the Dell from the floppy and go to multicast, I get: Application Error 19913 Unable to start TCP/IP Can't find DHCP Server Possible Network setup problem The Ghost server and the Dell that I am trying to create an image from, are connected to each other using a Netgear switch. We have used this setup many times before on other Dell systems and it works fine. Any ideas?
