I think johnwill’s suggestion was to partition from there. You want to partition then format. Right click in the drive area and there is an option to delete application error the partition. I presume after you have deleted it there is an option to make a partition – I’ve never done it from there. You can also format from a right click after it is formatted. If the drive is showing as the right size you might just format it. I would try that first but I don’t want to speak for him since you application error 29004 are following his suggestion. slipe, Jun 14, 2003 #16 Jascat Thread Starter Joined: Jun 7, 2003 Messages: 56 I deleted the partition & now all mention of the drive has disappeared. i went into my computer & it has gone from there as well??? I've never had GHOST fail to do a copy, and I've been using it for many versions and years. That’s because you are too smart to have an EZ-BIOS overlay on your drive. If you have an overlay on the drive Ghost will not copy a drive where MaxBlast will. Click to expand... Well, you're 100% right. There is absolutely no reason to install the EZ-BIOS overlay on any system built in the last 4 years, and even before that if you upgrade the BIOS. I truthfully don't even think about drive overlays anymore. No question is stupid...but, possibly the answers are !&& IP Logged Lionel Guest Back to top Re: Ghost 2k3's Read Sector Failure when cloning L Reply #2 - Apr 4th, 2006 at 2:28am Thx NightOwl,Sorry about that, I'm currently using the Panasonic version:- USBASPI.SYS and DI1000DD.SYSMaybe, it is not the incompatibility between Ghost 2k3 and external USB HDD becos I d
